Tipi Glamping on our ranch!!

Come and stay with us this year at our Fell View Tipi


Your own private haven on the Eastern fringes of the Lake District National park, just a stones throw from the Howgills & Yorkshire Dales too! All the convenience of just a 10 minute drive from J38 off the M6 whilst feeling totally remote in the foothills of the Lakeland fells. We welcome visitors who want to immerse themselves in the outdoors, get out exploring & unwind in this magical setting in the evening.


Set in a private 1/2 acre paddock full of wild flowers, fruit trees, vegetables, chickens, with babbling brook and uninterrupted views of the fells you will find Fell View Tipi. Aside from Becki & Dan you will have exclusive use of this area to really make yourselves at home.


The Tipi has a comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress, bedside tables and baskets to store your belongings. A lamp and plug sockets for phone charging etc. You’ll also find a rocking chair, hangers for jackets and a shoe basket amongst the furnishings. There is an urn with drinking water, kettle, toaster, glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery and a chopping board.


There is a canopy out the front providing shade and rain cover with a table and chairs. The paddock has soft lighting for after dark to add the atmosphere and help you get around. Guests are welcome to bring their own camping stoves to cook on.


There is a compost toilet with a great mountain view through the porthole window as well as a washing up area and off grid shower both with hot water just the other side of the river to the Tipi. There are friendly signs explaining how to use them all and eco-friendly wash products are provided.
