About the event

Explore the fells of the North West of the Lake District on foot. Typically a quieter corner of the National Park but one with some truly spectacular hidden delights, bountiful wildlife and mountain vistas that will blow you away! A leisurely start of 1pm, walking into the summer evening light. Eat lunch before you come and bring food for an afternoon bite.

Roughly 10km route taking in some of the higher peaks. As we start off in the valley we'll be on the look out for red squirrels and spring birds amongst woodland and cascading waterfalls pour off the mountain sides before the tree line drops aways and the panoramic views open up! The Ullswater and Haweswater valleys stretching out beneath us tell a story of how this landscape came to be. The magic of this area really has to be seen to be believed!

INTO the OUTSIDE provide all the technical and safety equipment, you just need to bring walking boots, waterproofs, warm layers, food & drink! Walking poles can be provided, just let us know in good time beforehand.

Price: £100 for the first person, £25 per additional person.

Exact meeting location will be discussed upon booking.
