National 3 Peaks

The National 3 Peaks include Ben Nevis in Scotland (4,409ft), Scafell Pike in England (3,209ft) and Mount Snowdon in Wales (3,560ft).

Travelling North to South you'll start ascending Ben Nevis into the sunset, as it is the least technical mountain to descend at night. From Scotland we'll drive towards the Lake District to begin a sunrise climb up Scafell Pike. As the clock ticks the challenge draws to a close in Wales, Mount Snowdon just stands between you and victory!

The National 3 Peaks is a great way to raise money for charity, have fun with friends and work colleagues or train for bigger things abroad!

This challenge will push even the most determined hikers. The National 3 Peaks is a serious undertaking. For that reason, many of our clients take it as an opportunity to raise money for charity. It will test you mentally and physically and we strongly recommend coming out on one or both the Lakes 3000s or the Yorkshire 3 Peaks as training days well in advance to test your fitness, kit, pace and most of all give yourself the best possible chance for success!

Ben Nevis Stage – 10.5 miles/17km 6 hours Scafell Pike Stage – 6 miles/9.6km 4 hours Snowdon Stage – 7 miles/11km 4 hours

Total = 23.5 miles/37.6km  14 hours walking (10 hours travel time)

You will need to spend the night of Friday 6th August 2021 in the Fort William area. INTO the OUTSIDE will provide minibus transport from Fort William, between all the mountains to Snowdon on Sunday 8th August 2021. You may choose to spend some time in Wales after the challenge or our minibus can drop you at one of the following stations to make your way home: Chester, Warrington, Preston, Lancaster or Penrith.
